Alex is an experienced international industrialist operating across several industries with Dow Chemical, Eli Lilly, Recordati spa, Laporte plc and BIP Limited. Alex has acquired and sold businesses in the UK, Italy, Spain, France, USA and Brazil and held board positions in companies in the UK, Singapore, Taiwan, France and Brazil. Alex has managed businesses in all stages of development including: start-up, mature, declining, highly profitable and insolvent situations.

Alex has specific industry and product experience in: thermosetting and thermoplastic resins, coatings, paper and textiles chemicals, wood pulp and paper products, bio-fuels and their feed-stocks, semiconductor cleaning and etching chemicals, pharmaceuticals, animal health products and agrochemicals.

Alex has an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Turin, an MBA from Indiana University Kelley in Bloomington IN and an Executive Master from Bocconi University in Milan.
